when i was a kid i always hate watching good shows that end too soon.
like ice cream, they melt too quick, too fast for you to savor every bit of every second. one more minute isn’t enough for one more bite. one more lick.

but life doesn’t wait.

that’s why all good things never last.

and so it was with KBS.

you want a good thing to last?

make a deal.

but i will never.

i see time ebb and flow.
and i just sit. and watch.

i’ll probably grow old and have only one good thing last…
and that probably isn’t the good thing i wanna make last.

do not reveal your desires to fate’s cruel whims. do not even dream or want or wish for it. the moment you do is the moment you hand it up for fate to take away.

watch me Tristan. im dying a good death.
’twas a good death. but dead is still dead.

i never made you proud X. and i probably never will.

if you find that you miss me, look for me under the bootsoles of others. yet you’ll neither know who i am or what i mean..

and when i looked out at the sea, i heard it crying out: Life, is immense!

never be afraid to dream, to love, to get hurt. i’ve been to the depths of hell and back and i never regretted burning in hell for that one brief moment to be happy.

you simply intimidate me. in everything. do you know you even do it even when i just wana talk to you, casually, about anything. i was the most insecure person i ever knew, and i felt you always challenged me. maybe that’s why you liked me. coz you think im a difficult person. but the fact is im absolutely not. im just me.

he’s not available right now. if his phone is ringing and he’s not answering, that’s because i have his phone with me. and why do i have it? because it’s mine! but it’s his phone you say? and so it is. then why the hell do i say it’s mine? because it’s his, and so it’s mine. look, if you wanna talk to him, just give me the message and i’ll make sure he’ll get it. what about his reply, you ask? well, bugger me! if he decided to take a sabbatical, then you can’t very well expect him to bother giving you an answer now, can you? and when might you expect a reply? well, i figure in about a hundred years or so. i’m now in control and i don’t think i’ll ever let him out again. kapish?

A centaur galloping on the green hills of scotland…

pulling back his bow for a shot at the hawk flying sky high.

a scorpion crawling the sandy beach…

trying to survive each battering of the waves.

A man and a boy.

Two lives in one body.

Who lives and who gets buried does not matter

so long as the other gets to live another day.

I’ll never look at the sun again the same way I look at it now. Never look at the east again the same way I look now. I look elsewhere, towards that setting sun. I thought, somehow, if I just manage to get out of the cycle, I can beat them at their game. But how can you win a game when you play by the rules of those who want you to lose? How can you win a game where breaking rules is just a roundabout way of following them?

We are the sum of our psyche, programmed from birth and manipulated throughout life. You cannot escape as long as you act according to how you were programmed to act.

Can a robot disobey its core programming?

We give the damn thing free choice, and then program him with a set of traits and personalities, put him in a controlled environment and present him choices where we have mathematically predicted with utmost certainty what he will choose. We lead him through this merry-go-ride and near the end of his pathetic life, show him how he’s been led all the fucking time.

Except, this fucking machine won’t get mad. He’ll just say "thank you. when do i get to be a god?"

And of course we’ll answer him, "right after we reboot you."

Yes. A fucking winning answer if ever i heard one.

So, who wants to get rebooted?

sometimes, in life, it’s the little things that matter. like rain, we tend to miss the magic of raindrops if we pull up and open our umbrella. don’t exchange the raindrops for a lousy dry spell.

if you can guess from what anime these lines came from, then you’re a certified anime junkie. (no cheating! no net surfing!)

"i’m not just like the sun who will set in the evening and rise in the
morning….just imagine living but like not living….knowing that you
will not die, means not knowing how to live…."

"I already have a contract with the devil, it’s too late too get along with God"

"You are not the type of man that I want to commit a lover’s suicide with."

"I helped out in your  training i let u borrow 2 of my best porn mag."

"You’re just a panty shot character. Show your panties already."

"When I look at you I’m reminded of everything I hate about myself. You know, it hurts."

"I’m just killing the spiders to save the butterflies."

"I have to accept this as my fate… the destiny of the dying.."

"If there’s really that many people in the world, then there had to be
someone who wasn’t ordinary. There had to be someone who was living an
interesting life. There just had to be. Why wasn’t I that person?"

"Hey, yeah, welcome back. I guess its a good thing I didn’t bury you that deep after all."

"There’s an unbreakable rule in fighting between men: a short,
chubby, ugly guy can never defeat a tall, slender, handsome main
character. Your fate, was sealed when you showed up with that ugly
face."

" Their expecting us to peek. It be rude if we didn’t."

(tagalog dubbed)

"Malawak ang kalangitan, ngunit magkalayo man tayo alam kong nasa ilalim pa rin tayo ng iisang langit. "

"Mikaela, at ang mga dakilang extra!"

three years have past, and nothing has changed…

an excerpt from one of my very first blog entries here:

"Now to the Arroyo administration, which incidentally has a frightening
resemblance to George Orwell’s fictional government in his book, The
Farm, I say this: You may use all your powers to thwart, hide behind,
or use inappropriately the rule of law, yet ultimately you are bound to
fall. For all tyrants and tyrannies have an end, and that retribution
will always come to those who warrant it."

Wag nyo nang antayin pa na umabot sa sukdulan ang pasensya ng taumbayan. It will not be pretty I promise you.

"Upon this first, and in one sense this sole, rule of reason, that in
order to learn you must desire to learn, and in so desiring not be
satisfied with what you already incline to think, there follows one
corollary which itself deserves to be inscribed upon every wall of the
city of philosophy: Do not block the way of inquiry. Although it is
better to be methodical in our investigations, and to consider the
economics of research, yet there is no positive sin against logic in
‘trying’ any theory which may come into our heads, so long as it is
adopted in such a sense as to permit the investigation to go on
unimpeded and undiscouraged. On the other hand, to set up a philosophy
which barricades the road of further advance toward the truth is the
one unpardonable offence in reasoning, as it is also the one to which
metaphysicians have in all ages shown themselves the most addicted."

Charles Sander Peirce, in the recess of my mind, your ideas have flowed long before I even knew you. Or learned this concept - pragmatism.

Let me add one more precept to your ideas.

I propose Logic to be supreme. Above mathematics and empirical observation. Because our math is fallible. It is incomplete (no wonder Einstein failed at his unified theory). The precepts we work with in mathematics is fundamentally flawed. It only works at a certain point, at which if we try to go higher, totally breaks down.

Likewise, empirical observation is even more ephemeral. It takes for granted that we already know what is real and what is not. What is true and what is not. And this "empirical observation" is elevated into a science! whereby established scientific laws are hardly challenged ever again!

Rule of reason should be this: survival of the fittest. If your reasoning can survive the attacks of others, then for the moment, yours is the logical argument. That is, until it is totally demolished by another argument.

this is a simple case of taking the logical events to its conclusion.

good people, don’t kill. bad people do.
good vs bad, good loses. bec they always get killed.
so bad people stay on top, and sometimes even multiply, because good
people getting killed is a reinforcing lesson on semi-bad people and on
semi-good people.
that being good is bad for your health.
so more step over to the dark side.

the level of education of an individual is inversely proportional to the number of kids they will produce.
and the more kids an individual has, the lesser chances these kids have
of acquiring a higher or even the same degree of education their
parents had. since this is a spillover cycle, succeeding generations
would elicit a vicious cycle. having had less or no education, they
reproduce even more. and their kids, even more!

dumadami ang pobre, kumokonti ang edukado.

media is powerful. BUT media, panders to the masses. the least of
the educated. so, media, the ever powerful brainwashing machine, not
only dumbs down the already dumb poor, but affects everyone else tuned
in to it. including the rich brats who’ll someday take control of their
parents empire. so stupidity though not medically contagious, spreads
like the black plague.

it’s a dynamic combination! more miseducation, more unwanted
population! we’re nicely coming along in the words of the revelation.
it’s spinning out of control too!
more unwanted population? the more quality of education falls, the
better breeding ground for more unwanted population! isn’t this what
the church wants? and why not? it’s God’s word! we’re only fulfilling
the end as prophesied.

and its not only the religious who gets to say “i told ya so!” but
even those who believe in science. for this is evolution at its finest.
man, edging out, marginalizing, the best and brightest, the kindest,
most good, visionary gene-carriers among them so that the vile, stupid,
cruelest, myopic gene-carriers can thrive.

i think it won’t be long before we beat the cockroach at their own game.

now here’s a guy any writer can look up to

Joey Alarilla on PR releases and journalistic principles

This isn’t just NSFW (not safe for work) but NSA (not safe anywhere). Proceed at your own risk. And if I haven’t stressed it enough yet, I’ll repeat it again. This is not for the faint of heart. If there are kids around you right now, DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT open this. This is more than just disgusting. This is the possibility of depravity of the human race.

Now if you’re so curious yet can’t help but wonder what this is, google Coprophagia in wikipedia. That should bring you up to what I’m talking about. Now if you can imagine what is being described there without vomiting, then you can pretty much handle a few seconds of this clip.

OR NOT.

Again, a disclaimer. For reasons other than personal and physical well-being, it is also advised not to open this on a dedicated server or on a PC where you store valuable documents and stuff you don’t want destroyed, erased, etc. The site I will be linking is possibly geared will all kinds of nasty things that’ll invade your PC’s security. Am advising to proceed on a public PC or internet cafe. Or any PC that’s NOT YOURS. (though I opened this on my own laptop, i didn’t care much since there’s nothing of value in my hard drive, and i can just reformat anytime).

Now, to end the suspense, the link for your viewing pleasure.

2 Girls 1 Cup  (don’t say I didn’t warn you)

Vomited yet? Well just think that that clip could’ve been doctored. I say could’ve because on the next clip, that "could’ve" is pretty much erased. Doctored how? Well, if you’re knowledgeable enough in filming, you’d notice that the camera cuts coincided in such a way that the cup’s content could’ve been substituted with something else (perhaps a chocolate dairy queen?) and that everything else is pretty much left to your imagination for the video to work.

Well, not so with this.

2 Girls 1 Finger

Okay. Now I’m a BELIEVER. Go on. Figure out how that one can be doctored with camera cuts. The second and following cuts yes, but not the first.

Disturbing?

Well keep in mind that wikipedia says one can be vaccinated if one practices this kind of thing. Still, this is probably worse than necrophilia in the hierarchy of sex fetishes (that i know of). Not that I know many. Or any, at all.

for the entire background, here’s ever reliable wikipedia

what wiki says

Knowledge is frightening. The internet? Horrifying multiplied many times over. This is how boundaries are erased, and pretty much everything invaded. The only way to guard against invasion is to strengthen your mind with more information. And the only way to stay sane enough long enough to acquire that much information is of course, to forget it once you’ve acquired it. And then you call it up when you need it. It’s basic mind partitioning. You program your mind with your will. It’s self-administered amnesia, self-hypnosis, whatever you call it. No wonder I have blank spots in my memory. It’s my self-defense mechanism working overtime. I’ve began to reclaim some of them as I started writing "Minsan…"

I stopped writing. If my subconscious buried those memories, it must’ve had a good reason to do so. As the prison warden said in the movie Minority Report, "careful chief. When you dig up the past, all you get is dirt."

I’ll start digging again when I muster enough courage to do so. Until then, RUUUNNN!!!
